Tony and I just enjoyed our first Thanksgiving at the inn (as we closed last December on our historical Ludington bed and breakfast). Of course the time went way too quickly, and I always have a big honey do list going. Tony just finished putting new spa robes in the last two rooms, and we have purchased four seasons fireplaces for the Romantic Retreat Suite and for the Victorian Room. Also, Alicia's Room has been reworked yet again. After hours of looking, I found a cream comforter set with velvet trim (a winner finally), some lovely lace trimmed pillows, and added Victorian embroidered sheers above the new queen bed.
We have just met with a wonderful chef who specializes in smaller intimate events, including romantic dinners for two in the Candlelite Inn formal dining room. Chef Peter will also be creating delicious desserts upon request for our guests, and assisting us with themed events.
