Ludington has several new businesses that our guests may wish to enjoy during their special getaway.
First of all, there are now horse drawn carriage rides! So many of our guests are celebrating special events, or just that it is a Monday, and they are enjoying being with a special person or persons. Candlelite Inn Bed & Breakfast guests may also make arrangements to be picked up by carriage ride when taking the SS Badger across the lake.
Please see our new Shore to Shore package with WestPort Bed & Breakfast, located on the other side of Lake Michigan, close to the SS Badger's Wisconsin port. Each innkeeper has a special gift to give to our Shore to Shore guests.
There is also another new business whereby our Ludington guests can take a tour to the splendid Ludington State Park, historic White Pine Village and other scenic locations by van. Just ask us for all the details.
A third winery is now within a half hour drive of Candlelite Inn. Krolczyk Cellars Winery has opened in Freesoil. Krolczyk Cellars tasting room is open May through October on Saturdays from 12 - 6, and Sunday from 12 - 4, and their website is www.kcellars.com.
